NOTES
1. E.g. www.mycompany.com or www.myproduct.co.uk. Registration is normally for two years.
2. A web page can be considered equivalent to an average side of A4 text and pictures. Five pages is the size of a typical "starter" site. If you require more than 25 pages, put 25 and explain further in the "additional information" box.
3. Examples of an advanced site might be the use of audio or video clips, chat rooms, bulletin boards, downloads etc.
4. A standard form sent to a single email address can be provided free with each site. An enhanced form can be used to send visitor responses to multiple addresses.
5. I can help to write the copy for your site and find suitable graphics if you don't have any, but these may cost extra. Scanning of a reasonable number of your own photos etc. is free of charge.
6. Such as a price or product database where you want people to be able to look things up on-line.
7. "Realtime" processes the customer's card payment on the spot and transfers the money to your bank or a holding account. "Semi-automated" collects the card details on a secure server, and you process these through your existing merchant terminal as mail orders. Alternatively the web site can collect a credit card payment for products and services already invoiced by email or post. "Manual" is the basic print-off-the-order form and post-your-cheque option (i.e. no online payment processing).
